The EDF lavender sonde is a replacement dual-frequency transmitter compatible with the DigiTrak Eclipse locating system. It operates at two selectable frequencies: 1.5 kHz for a working depth of up to 12.2 meters, or 12 kHz for an extended depth of up to 18.3 meters. The sonde transmits 12 clock positions with an inclination accuracy of ±0.1%, and automatically switches to standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Our upgraded EDF transmitter delivers 2× longer operating time compared to the OEM version — achieved through reduced current consumption while fully maintaining signal strength and depth performance.
The structural elements responsible for reliable operation in harsh conditions have been reinforced, making this sonde particularly suited for work in heavy or dense soils and with percussion drilling rigs where standard sondes are prone to early failure.
