The FX12/19 green sonde is a replacement dual-frequency transmitter compatible with all DigiTrak F2 and DigiTrak F5 locating systems. It operates at either 12 kHz or 19.2 kHz — selected directly in the field without any tools — with a working depth of up to 19.8 meters. The sonde transmits 12 clock positions with an inclination accuracy of ±0.1%, and switches to standby mode automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
This model delivers 3× longer battery life compared to the original DigiTrak sonde, achieved through significantly reduced power consumption while maintaining full signal strength and depth performance.
📋 How to Select Frequency in the Field
- 12 kHz: Insert batteries from the top, shake vigorously, wait 5 seconds.
- 19.2 kHz: Insert batteries from the bottom, shake vigorously, wait 5 seconds.
⚠️ The sonde continues operating for 40–50 seconds after battery removal. When switching frequency, wait at least 1 minute without batteries before reinserting.
