The DX red sonde is a replacement transmitter compatible with all DigiTrak Mark 3, Mark 4, and Mark 5 locating systems. Operating at 33 kHz, the DX offers an extended working depth of up to 21.3 meters — making it the deep-range option in the DigiTrak Mark sonde lineup, compared to the standard 11 m of the DT yellow sonde. It transmits 12 clock positions with an inclination accuracy of ±0.1%, and automatically switches to standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.
A key advantage over the OEM transmitter is significantly reduced power consumption. The original DigiTrak DX probe draws approximately 70 mA in operating mode; our upgraded sonde draws only 35 mA — delivering 2× longer operating time per charge while maintaining full signal strength and depth performance.
