Power Switching Instructions

Operating mode selection — a power/frequency combination (3 power levels and 4 frequencies = 12 combinations) — is performed from the locator via a Bluetooth channel. After the required sonde mode is set, it can be switched in two ways:

Method 1. In-ground switching

The sonde has a 5-hour parking mode. In parking mode, it enters sleep within 5 minutes. To switch the sonde mode, put it into sleep and wake it within one minute (rotate the sonde).

Method 2. Switching on startup

Standard procedure, same as in FX12/19.
