The DT yellow sonde is a replacement transmitter compatible with all DigiTrak Mark 3, Mark 4, and Mark 5 locating systems. Operating at 33 kHz, it provides a working depth of up to 11 meters and transmits 12 clock positions with an inclination accuracy of ±1%. The sonde automatically switches to standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life.
A key advantage over the OEM transmitter is significantly reduced power consumption. The original DigiTrak DT sonde draws approximately 50 mA in operating mode; our upgraded sonde draws only 25 mA — delivering 2× longer operating time per charge while maintaining full signal strength and depth performance.
The structural components responsible for reliable performance in demanding HDD environments have been reinforced for improved durability and longevity.
